Two Molecule FM Champions Crowned at Thunderhill Raceway Park
Hulse locks Pro FM, and Weaver takes the Standard FM Championship

The Molecule Formula Mazda Challenge visited Thunderhill Raceway this weekend for their last visit to the track for the 2009 season. All of the Pro FM drivers came in on Thursday for two days of testing and as expected 2009 Star Mazda Series Expert Champion Mike Guasch was at the top of most of the time sheets.

When the first qualifying session rolled around on Saturday Guasch took the PFM and overall pole with a 1:40.975. In the Standard FM class Bill Weaver took the pole and the associated bonus point that goes along with it. Complete story, scoring, points and photos >>
